Description
Yellow labels are used by the final-stage manufacturer if: (1) the vehicle is completed and certified within the instruction in the Incomplete Vehicle Document provided by the chassis manufacturer, and (2) no additional certification of the work previously performed and certified by the incomplete or intermediate vehicle manufacturer(s) is necessary by the final-stage manufacturer. A self-voiding feature eliminates the threat of unauthorized tampering. Labels provide for metric and English units of measure as required by 49 CFR part 567.5 (100 labels and covers per package).
